7 APR 2008 ABI Announces 2007 Financial Results

For the year ended 31 December, 2007, revenues totaled $5.5 million, the highest in the Company’s history. Other highlights include the first positive EBITDA of $1.4 million, which represents ABI’s maiden positive operating cash flow.

3 April 2008 Thomas A. Nicolette named Chief Executive Officer

Having successfully initiated ABI’s transition from R&D-based entity to a Sales and Marketing organization over the past twelve months, Thomas A. Nicolette has become CEO of the Company, effective immediately. Dr. Raymond F. Akers, Jr. will now hold the position of Executive Vice Chairman of the Board, continuing to lead the development of new products. Robert J. Paratore has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

18 September 2007 Receipt of $4,500,000 in United States Military Contracts

Akers Biosciences, Inc. (ABI) announced that the United States Army placed an order for $2,500,000 of the Company's BreathScan® alcohol safety units, and the United States Navy placed orders for the same products valued at $2,000,000, all deliverable in shipments beginning immediately and continuing through 2007.
